Updates to Skechers Flex Advantage 3.0

  • The Skechers Flex Advantage 3.0 is an athletic training footgear that is an improved version of the  Skechers Flex Advantage 2.0. As part of the men’s workout shoe line of Skechers, it uses the same formula as the original: no-nonsense, sporty design and several special performance technologies.
  • This time around, it has a sleeker and more understated style thanks to the smooth action leather and the mesh upper. The latter has a diamond texture to create a more breathable foot environment.
  • The composition of the platform remains the same. It still employs the Air Cooled Memory Foam insole for a breathable and cushioned sensation. Beneath it are the lightweight and flexible midsole and outsole working together to absorb impact and ensure footing.

Size and fit

The Skechers Flex Advantage 3.0 is structured to follow the biomechanics and foot dimensions of men. The array of sizes available are US 6.5 to 14, with half sizes in between spanning from US 6.5 to 11.5. It comes in just one width option, which is the D - Medium.

Outsole

The Skechers Flex Advantage 3.0 has a bottom that utilizes rubber, a material that displays a strong grip on different types of surfaces. It is also made to be flexible to promote natural foot flexion.

Midsole

The Skechers Flex Advantage 3.0 has a lightweight midsole that attenuates shock to prevent soreness and potential injuries. It also has a pliable form to keep up with the dynamic movements of the foot.

The Air Cooled Memory Foam insole gives a plush underfoot feel. It is made of breathable components to keep the foot chamber cool.

Upper

A textured mesh fabric and smooth leather were used on this section of the Skechers Flex Advantage 3.0. Its mesh has diamond-textured fabric panels, which aim to deliver breathability.

The shoe’s overlay is also composed of leather. It is placed on three different areas of the overhead such as the toe, the lace holes, and the heel. They boost the support and durability of these high-wear areas.

A traditional lace-up closure tightens the fit according to the preference of the wearer. It also reinforces the sides and enhances lateral support.

A pull tab is attached to the heel collar. It is meant to make an easy slip-on experience.
