The Scarpa Kailash Trek GTX delivers ample performance and protection for backpackers in need of a high-cut boot. A Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane is integrated into its 1.8mm suede and nylon fabric upper, making it a hiker that prevents water from getting in.

A midsole made of light polyurethane (PU) foam supplies cushioning and stability. Its Vibram Biometric outsole contains an aggressive profile to help the user tackle virtually all types of terrain.

The Kailash Trek GTX from Scarpa caters to male and female backpackers. Both versions come in standard width with a wide variant available for men. It is offered in whole and half sizes. Moreover, this model generally runs true to size.

This boot is built on three different lasts – TM, TML, and TX. The first two offers a regular fit for men and women while the latter is crafted for male adventurers with wide feet. Also, the footgear’s closure system allows a personalized yet secure lockdown.

Thanks to its Vibram Biometric outsole, backpackers can gain a secure footing on virtually all types of terrain with the Scarpa Kailash Trek GTX. It’s made of an XS Trek compound for enhanced durability and resistance to harsh ground conditions. The outsole’s profile is filled with a pattern of aggressive lugs to deliver grip on wet and dry surfaces. Its heel brake grants improved control when tackling downhill slopes.

Bestowing the user with cushioning, energy return, and stability is the Kailash Trek GTX’s midsole. It’s made of light PU foam for optimal wear-resistance. The boot’s Comfort-Flex insole delivers a boost in arch support and underfoot comfort.

The Scarpa Kailash Trek GTX features a high-cut upper made of 1.8mm suede leather and nylon fabric. It contains a Gore-Tex Performance Comfort liner to counter water intrusions without compromising breathability. The gear’s forefoot area is reinforced with a rubber cap for enhanced durability and protection from stubbing.

This Scarpa boot for hiking uses a series of eyelets and metal hooks for its closure system. A counter is molded onto the upper’s heel area for improved stability. Also, the footgear’s collar and tongue are padded to promote comfort.
