Saucony Shadow 6000 Easter Egg Hunt History

The Saucony Shadow 6000 first came out in 1991. The unique silhouette, stabilized heel, and engineered soles have kept this design a popular shoe for many long-distance runners.

The retro sneaker was a favorite among Olympians for its long-distance running capabilities and features that make it extremely lightweight. In order to achieve this, Saucony designers had to remove the TPU heel support and changed them with a lighter EVA cushioning for a better shock absorption making it even more comfortable for high mileage runners.

Over the years, the Shadow 600 had several retro revivals that further elevated its popularity. MAong its newer revivals include Bermuda, Irish Coffee, Space and Betta Pack. The company also collaborated with retailers for the likes of Bodega x Saucony Shadow 6000 and Packer x Saucony Shadow 6000.

The company released the Saucony Shadow 6000 Easter Egg Hunt model in blue, emerald, and purple hues for the spring and summer seasons on April 16, 2016.
