Saucony Omni 20: Who and what is it for?

The Omni 20 from Saucony is the brand's most stable motion control running shoe. This makes it a fitting choice for those who suffer from flat feet, overpronation (feet roll inward excessively), plantar fasciitis, and other foot conditions. 

It's a daily trainer that's designed for high-mileage runs. It's a tad heavy for tempo paces but is an excellent pick for recovery runs. 

Saucony Omni 20 vs.19: A smoother ride

The 20th edition of the Saucony Omni features updates on the upper, midsole, and outsole, creating an overall feel of amped-up comfort and a much seamless ride. Here are the applied changes: 

  • For a peppy, responsive ride, the midsole now features a new PWRRUN foam, layered with EVERUN foam for a cushy sensation with optimal energy return;
  • To encourage foot motions, there are added flex grooves in the outsole, and; 
  • Lastly, the FORMFIT upper makes use of new materials for a comfortable, supportive fit.
