Saucony Excursion TR 11 GTX size and fit

In making the GTX version of the Saucony Excursion TR 11, standard shoe measurements were used. The sizing follows the wearer's preferences. This Saucony shoe has a standard D - Medium and B- Medium widths for men’s and women's version respectively.

Outsole

The XT-600 carbon rubber rim is integrated into the Saucony Excursion TR 11 GTX. This component of the shoe aims to provide the right amount of grip that is needed on a wide variety of trails. This material also provides additional durability.

Midsole

Durable and responsive cushioning are encouraged by the Injection Molded EVA foam. This material is centered on providing enough level of comfort that the wearer needs during the running activities.

Utilized in the midsole area is the Heel Grid System. This technology consists of a grid pattern that aims to deliver better shock absorption for an efficient heel strike.

Additional cushioning to the underfoot area is provided by the Molded Sockliner. The material's primary focus is contouring to the underfoot curves for added support and comfort.

Upper

Integrated into the shoe is the mesh construction. This breathable material is the main fabric used in the Saucony Excursion TR 11 GTX. It is responsible for covering the runner's foot while allowing better inflow and outflow of air. This material is essential in keeping the foot fresh and dry at all times.

Adding more structure to the upper section is offered by the synthetic overlays. The lacing system is connected to the stitched-on layers, keeping the coverage as agreeable and precise as possible.

In making the shoe waterproof, the Gore-Tex membrane is utilized. This added feature is essential in improving the shoe's performance when running in different weather conditions.

The padded tongue and collar aim to add more ankle support and cushioning to the runner's foot. The materials are significant in preventing the foot to move around the interior. As a result, the foot is kept in place without the possibility of slipping-off.

The heel pull loop is added to the Saucony Excursion TR 11 GTX. The goal of which is to aid the wearer in easily putting on this pair of shoe.
