  • The Salomon XA Elevate GTX features a waterproof upper, making the shoe ideal for mixed weather conditions. The full GTX cleatie construction also delivers comfortable and smooth in-shoe feel.
  • The Advanced Chassis technology is strategically placed between the outsole and the midsole of the XA Elevate GTX for enhanced motion control, underfoot protection, and responsive ride.
  • In the midsole is the Dual-Density EVA and EnergyCell+. These midsole foams offer long-lasting underfoot protection, responsive ride, and dependable motion control.
  • The Premium Wet Traction Contagrip is also present in the Salomon XA Elevate GTX. It is designed to provide unmatched traction on varied trail surfaces.

Just like its non-waterproof version, the XA Elevate GTX is available in standard running shoe length. It has a medium fit from the heel to the forefoot, comfortably accommodating runners with medium foot measurements. The shoe is available in men’s and women’s version in standard D – medium and B – medium width.

The Premium Wet Traction Contagrip is placed in the outsole of the XA Elevate GTX. It delivers maximum traction on both and dry running surfaces. With this outsole material, runners can withstand even the most rugged terrain. Aside from the unmatched grip, the shoe also delivers durability, especially in high-wear areas.

Salomon’s Advanced Chassis technology is placed in between the midsole and outsole of the XA Elevate GTX. It is a lightweight, innovative chassis formulated for maximum motion control, responsiveness, and energy-return.

Along with the Advanced Chassis is the Profeel Film which ensures a smooth heel-to-toe transition. It offers stability and consistency all throughout the run, and it gives added foot protection and flexibility.

Dual-Density EVA and EnergyCell+ are found in the midsole of the Salomon XA Elevate GTX. These midsole technologies offer long-lasting cushioning, stability and efficient energy-return for a smoother, responsive ride.

Delivering anatomical support and an extra layer of cushioning is a molded EVA sock liner. It has the odor-eliminating and moisture-wicking capacity to keep the foot dry and odor-free even in warm running conditions.

In the upper of the Salomon XA Elevate GTX is a mesh material that is lightweight and breathable. The mesh also offers a comfortable foot coverage.

Along with the mesh material is the Gore-Tex membrane which gives the shoe a waterproof coverage. It is very useful, especially on muddy and wet running surfaces. The Gore-Tex membrane is very efficient in keeping the foot dry, without compromising breathability and comfort.

Same as in the popular Salomon Speedcross 5, the shoe features the notable Quick Lacing System from Salomon. The minimalistic design allows the easy-wear and easy-off of the shoe. The lacing provides better midfoot security alongside with the Sensifit overlays which wrap the foot securely, providing a more customized fit all around the foot.
