This hiking cleat from Salomon uses the brand’s patented Contagrip MD outsole. It’s made of a durable rubber compound which grants long-term wear resistance. The sole’s profile features a pattern of aggressive lugs which renders multi-directional traction on virtually all types of surfaces. The Salomon X Radiant Mid GTX’s mid-cut upper is made of PU-coated leather and mesh fabric. It is lined with a Gore-Tex membrane (a component also found in the Quest 4D 3 GTX) to prevent water from entering the gear while maintaining breathability. A robust rubber cap is positioned on its forefoot area to amplify durability.

This Salomon product uses a series of eyelets and metal hooks for its closure system. Debris is prevented from entering the footgear via its gusseted tongue.
