  • The Salomon Wings Flyte GTX features a waterproof upper coverage. It uses the Gore-Tex membrane that is water resistant. It prevents water from entering the shoe while maintaining its breathability feature. It also gives added durability and support.

The Wings Flyte GTX is available in standard running shoe length. The midfoot and the forefoot have standard measurements and average fit. The heel gives a snug and comfortable fit. This shoe is available in standard D width for men and B for women.

Just like in the popular Salomon Sense Ride 2, the outer sole of the Wings Flyte GTX features the brand’s Contagrip technology that provides durable and reliable traction for varied terrains. The heel area features the AC tendon that is designed to deliver high energy return for an improved running experience.

The midsole uses the standard full-length injected EVA midsole that gives durable underfoot cushioning. It also features the AC Skeleton that is extended from the heel to the midfoot for a smoother heel to toe transition. The AC2 Muscle that is placed in between the outsole and AC Skeleton delivers added cushioning and durability.

The upper of the Salomon Wings Flyte GTX features the Gore-Tex membrane that is waterproof in nature. It keeps foot drier while keeping breathable and comfortable. The shoe has a protective toe cap that keeps toes safe from stone bruising while running on trails and a mud guard was installed as well to fend off mud and clay from entering the shoe.

The gusseted tongue is meant to deliver added comfort and to keep debris from entering the shoe. The shoe has an asymmetrical lacing system that facilitates the easy entry and exit of the foot while delivering a secure fit. The shoe also comes with an OrthoLite Sockline that is made from anti-bacterial material that reduces moisture and odor.
