Among the better Trail running shoes
It has never been more popular than this May
Better rated than the previous version Salomon Sense Mantra 3
  • The shoe is recapped to have the 6mm drop, which is on a lower side for trail running, but not too low to feel unprotected. To equip the shoe for tough terrains, it is designed to have the Contragrip and Dynamic Traction outsole that are both reliable when it comes to durability, traction, and grip on wet or dry ground condition.
  • Another update is the use of the Sensifit and Endofit Technology in the midsole and in the internal design for better performance. The seamless Sensifit wraps the mid-foot securely in its lace system, and this design provides a more stable and precise ride while giving assurance that the foot is in a snug fit environment. The Endofit technology hugs the foot where it should be with its internal sleeve, and it provides an improved foot wrapping.

The Salomon Sense Mantra 2 is true to standard size in length and width. The width is fit for medium in the heel, mid-foot, and forefoot areas. The size availability for the men’s version is 7 to 14 and for the women’s version is 5 to 10.

Similar to the well known Salomon Sense Ride 2, the outsole of the Salomon Sense Mantra 2 is equipped with the Contragrip technology, which is a rubber compound of density and geometry optimizing durability and grip on tough terrains. It also has the Dynamic Traction Outsole.

Salomon also placed the OS tendon thermoplastic urethane frames on the outsole for better heel-to-toe transitions and efficient push-off function.

The midsole of this shoe and its recent version, the Salomon Sense Mantra 3, are constructed using the dual density EVA, Compressed EVA, and injected EVA for maximum control and comfort. These technologies also provide superior cushioning and stability for a more enjoyable ride.

This shoe also comes with an EVA Foam Insole, which is a soft foam molded according to shoe for comfort and support.

The upper of the Salomon Sense Mantra 2 is equipped with the Sensifit and Endofit Technology. The Sensifit cradles the foot in a more précised way while providing security, snug feel, and comfort. The Endofit in its interior is a sleeve designed to comfortably and securely hug the foot inside.

For the snug fit, this shoe also has the Quicklace system, which provides a quick way of pulling on and off of lace and quick one-pull tightening. It also improves fit and security when running.
