Facts

Packed with trail-specific features, the Salomon Sense Feel GTX is designed to provide a well-protected and efficient ride. This trail running shoe is crafted with a fully waterproof upper that keeps the foot dry and comfortable whatever the weather or terrain.

For enhanced comfort, the 3D open mesh and Quicklace™ system are working together to provide a supportive and snug fit. The mesh top offers a breathable wrap while the lacing system allows for a secure and personalized in-shoe feel.

The EnergyCell is used in the midsole for lasting comfort. It offers a generous amount of cushioning in all conditions. Below the EnergyCell midsole is the Contagrip® MD outsole. This highly durable material is designed to protect the shoe for long-term use.

The standard sizing measurements were used during the production of this Salomon running shoe. However, it is highly recommended to check the shoe in-store or utilize the general feedback about sizing to ensure a pleasant wearing experience.

Several factors affect the fit of the shoe. This includes the overall upper construction that delivers a light and socklike in-shoe feel. Other elements are the Quicklace™ system and OrthoLite® die-cut insole that offers enhanced comfort.

The Salomon Sense Feel GTX incorporates the Contagrip® MD outsole for exceptional durability. The Contagrip® MD utilizes a highly durable compound that protects the shoe from all abrasive trail elements.

A strategic lug pattern is infused in the outsole for excellent traction. The lugs grip well on both soft and loose or hard and smooth surfaces.

A high-performance EVA foam called EnergyCell technology is integrated into the midsole of the  Salomon Sense Feel GTX. The EnergyCell is a high rebound midsole compound, which delivers optimal energy return while maintaining a high level of cushioning and durability. The EnergyCell midsole is also utilized in other Salomon trail running shoes such as the Salomon Speedcross 5.

Complementing the EnergyCell midsole is the OrthoLite® die-cut insole. This element is cut to the shape of the inner shoe, providing long-lasting comfort and breathability. It also offers additional underfoot protection.

The Salomon Sense Feel GTX utilizes a stitch-free upper construction that aims to provide a smooth and glove-like feel. The upper integrates a fully waterproof Gore-Tex membrane, which keeps the foot dry by preventing the water or rain from getting inside the shoe.

The 3D open mesh is also featured in the upper, providing maximum breathability. The mesh allows for continuous ventilation to keep the foot cool and comfortable for an extended period. A padded tongue is also included for added comfort and support.

For easy on and off, the Quicklace™ system is used in this running shoe. The Quicklace™ utilizes a minimalistic and strong lace for one-pull tightening. This component ensures a snug and customized fit every time.
