Updates to Salewa Lite Train K

The Lite Train K is a Salewa lightweight outdoor shoe designed for speed hikers who value performance and comfort in warm weather. Its knitted fabric upper is lined with a mesh material, granting optimal air ventilation.

Outdoor lovers are able to tackle uneven and rough ground conditions with sufficient cushioning, thanks to its ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) midsole. The shoe’s Michelin Lite Train outsole, meanwhile, gives surefootedness on virtually all types of terrain.

Size and fit

The Salewa Lite Train K is a low-top speed hiking shoe made for male and female adventurers. It uses a traditional lacing system to help wearers gain a customized lockdown. This component is connected to the brand’s proprietary 3F System, which grants security to the heel area.

The men’s and women’s Salewa Lite Train K comes with a Michelin Lite Train outsole to keep users grounded on varied terrain. It uses a sculpted pattern of multi-directional lugs, inspired by mountain bike tires, to produce grip on both wet and dry surfaces. It is made of an Outdoor Compound, which delivers durability and abrasion-resistance. The sole incorporates a small heel brake and an aggressive rearfoot zone to render extra stopping power for downhill conditions. Its front tip extends upwards to prevent the wearer’s toes from getting stubbed.

This lightweight outdoor shoe for hikers is equipped with a midsole made of lightweight EVA foam, a material that yields a cushioned ride. It is also engineered to reduce shock and offer rebound. It works in tandem with the brand’s patented 3F System, which supports the foot’s natural movement while you’re on the trail. An Ortholite insole sits on top of the midsole for added cushioning, underfoot comfort, and arch support.

The Salewa Lite Train K features a synthetic knitted fabric upper containing a mesh liner. These materials imbue the shoe with lightness while allowing air to circulate inside. Its forefoot region sports a rubber cap, which renders durability and extra protection from trail dangers.

This Salewa product uses a series of eyelets to help the wearer manage its fit. The shoe’s lacing system is connected to a 3F System, which locks the heel in place and supports it. Its tongue and collar are padded to promote comfort.
