Bottom line

The Ryka Sky Bolt satisfied shoppers who were in search of a trendy and comfortable pair of walking shoes. • The Ryka Sky Bolt was designed for women who are looking for both comfort and style in their daily walking footwear. The shoe is meant to provide lightweight and durable support for the foot throughout the walking gait cycle.
  • The knit upper is used for a soft yet secure coverage. Its breathable construction helps in keeping the foot chamber ventilated.
  • The IMEVA (injection-molded EVA) midsole renders cushioning for extended walking sessions. It acts jointly with the firm TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) midfoot shank to ensure the correct foot pronation.
  • The shoe employs a rubber outsole. It is made to be durable to withstand regular contact with concrete pavements and other outdoor surfaces.

Created with a female foot in mind, the Ryka Sky Bolt comes in women’s sizes only. Ladies can choose among US sizes  5 to 11, including half sizes. The model comes in two width profiles, B - Medium and D - Wide, to accommodate various foot dimensions.

The Ryka Sky Bolt utilizes hard-wearing rubber pods on its outsole unit. They have different textures and lug patterns in order to provide the right balance of grip and gliding. They also shield the platform against the abrasive nature of outdoor surfaces.

A full-length IMEVA foam makes up the midsole unit of this Ryka walking shoe. Created to be lightweight, it is meant to deliver responsive cushioning and shock absorption without weighing the foot down.

A firm yet lightweight TPU shank is placed in the midfoot. It assists in stabilizing the foot as it transitions from heel to toe. It also renders arch support, preventing excessive inward rolling of the foot (or overpronation).

The Memory Foam insole provides an additional layer of underfoot padding. It easily molds to take the unique shape of the wearer’s foot for extra comfort.

The Ryka Sky Bolt features a knit upper for a lightweight yet snug support. The knit has large ventilation pores in the midfoot and the forefoot for optimum ventilation.

The streamlined flexgear overlays stretch from the heel to the toes on both sides of the shoe. They add structure to the upper unit. The rearfoot and the toe box are reinforced with thicker synthetic overlays for extra support and durability.

The trainer is constructed with a rounded toe box. It affords space for the toes to splay comfortably inside the footwear.

A traditional lace-up closure secures the fit. A pull tab at the back of the collar assists in putting on and removing the shoe.
