Good to know
- The Ryka Rythma is a walking shoe equipped with technologies that protect the foot against impact, like the RE-ZORB Lite midsole. The underside is covered with hard-wearing rubber that also offers traction on most surfaces.
- As for the upper, it is made of soft mesh which keeps the interior fresh. The Plush Fit collar helps secure the rearfoot.
The Ryka Rythma is available in women’s US sizes 5 to 11, including half and full sizes in between. Ladies in search of wide walking shoes will be pleased to know that this model comes in D - Wide aside from the standard B - Medium width profile.
The Ryka Rythma is equipped with a rubber outsole that is designed to be durable and grippy. It features the Ultra Flex technology at the forefoot which promotes multi-directional flexibility.
An anatomical insole inside the Ryka Rythma provides a comfortable footbed. It has an extra arch and heel support which keeps the foot steady during the heel-to-toe motion.
As for the midsole, it is constructed from a full-length RE-ZORB LITE compound. This lightweight platform is responsive and delivers maximum impact protection.
If a generous sole unit is what you’re after, another model to consider is the New Balance 577. It features a polyurethane (PU) midsole with an ABZORB wedge at the heel for ultimate shock attenuation.
A streamlined soft mesh makes up the upper of the Ryka Rythma. It is also breathable which aids in maintaining the foot chamber fresh. Printed synthetic overlays reinforce the toe and the eyestay while a molded heel counter locks the heel.
A traditional lacing system is found on the midfoot. It allows users to adjust the fit. The rear section features the Plush Fit collar which secures the hindfoot.
