Updates to Reebok Zone CushRun
- The Reebok Zone CushRun is a running shoe that was made to deliver responsive performance to the wearer. Though it doesn’t have a lot of features, the ones that are present in it are all efficient when it comes to keeping the foot comfortable and secure at all times.
- The upper unit has three zones and they have specific purposes. The rear section is padded and it’s reinforced with overlays. Its purpose is to keep the foot in place while also preventing accidental shoe removals. The middle section is where most of the overlays are located. They connect directly to the lacing system to deliver a snug and secure fit. The front area’s mesh material isn’t marred by any layers; thus it is able to give flexibility to the runner.
- Ethylene vinyl acetate is a high quality foam unit that is able to provide reliable cushioning to the runner. This full-length foam is durable and responsive to the movements of the foot, and it even allows springy toe-offs. The sock liner uses MemoryTech foam, which conforms to the shape of the individual’s underfoot.
- Durable rubber covers the mid-sole and protects it from damage. It doesn’t peel off easily, so runners can trust it to last long. Flex grooves in the forefoot area cause the platform to be more agreeable to the motions of the foot.
Reebok Zone CushRun size and fit
The Reebok Zone CushRun has a standard running shoe length. The measurements that’re used in the making of this model are adherent to the preferences of runners. The available width for the men and women’s versions is medium, so it is able to welcome those with medium sized feet. Its semi-curved shape follows the natural contours of the human foot.
A durable rubber material is used to protect the mid-sole unit from the potentially damaging nature of the asphalt. It is also there to provide reliable surface traction, which is important for every running session.
Flex grooves in the forefoot area allow the platform to be more flexible. It basically lets the mid-sole follow the natural motion of the foot whenever it goes through the toe-off phase of the gait cycle, therefore making each stride easier and more agreeable.
The mid-sole unit of the Reebok Zone CushRun uses Ethylene vinyl acetate, which is a responsive foam that gives reliable cushioning, shock attenuation and springiness to the running experience. It doesn’t break down easily, making it effective even after many uses.
The MemoryTech sock liner adds a bit more cushioning to the underfoot. It is able to conform itself to the contours of the foot-pad, delivering support to areas that aren’t usually cushioned.
The upper is divided into three sections. The rear area is able to give stability because it is padded and reinforced with overlays. The middle part provides a snug and secure fit via an overlay system that connects to the shoelaces. The front area doesn’t have extra layers, but it utilizes a breathable mesh for ventilation and comfort.
The padded tongue and collar help in keeping the foot of the runner in place. They lock the foot down, preventing any accidental removals, which may become detrimental to the safety and performance of the wearer.
