- The Reebok Zigkick Tahoe is a road running shoe that features a unique look, especially when it comes to its platform. A standard-looking sole unit runs from the forefoot to the mid-foot, but it looks very different as it goes towards the rear area. A zigzag look is present in the rear platform and it’s not just for style; It delivers springy cushioning, reliable impact absorption and balance to the stride.
- The upper unit uses breathable mesh to encourage environmental air to give a well-ventilated experience to the runner. The synthetic overlays are stitched onto the fabric, thus heightening its overall resilience and durability. They help in delivering a snug and secure fit. For easy access, a pull tab is added to the heel area.
- Surface traction is afforded by the durable rubber compound placed in the outsole area. It also protects the ZigKick platform from abrasion and wear. Horizontal and vertical flex grooves provide the runner with natural flexibility and smoother transitions through the gait cycle.
The Reebok Zigkick Tahoe uses regular measurements when it comes to its length. Because of this shoe’s use of standard sizing schemes, runners are able to get a relaxed fit that adheres to their preferences. The width of this shoe is medium, therefore permitting it to welcome those who have medium sized feet. The semi-curved shape of this model follows the natural shape of the human foot.
The rubber material of this running shoe is highly resistant to abrasion. Its job is to protect the rest of the sole unit from wear and tear. It doesn’t easily peel off, so it stays efficient and capable even after many uses.
Vertical and horizontal flex grooves are placed in the forefoot area. They allow the platform to become more flexible as it follows the natural movements of the wearer’s foot. This design is very helpful when it comes to the toe-off phase, which is the part of the gait cycle where the forefoot bends the most.
The ZigKick Midsole has a unique design. It has a regular flat form that runs from the forefoot to the mid-foot, which cushions each step responsibly. But going towards the heel, the platform takes a zigzag shape. Its purpose is to deliver responsive cushioning, reliable shock absorption and balance to the stride.
A contoured insole is added to put additional cushioning to the foot. It provides support to the curves of the foot, making the underfoot experience as comfortable as possible. It can be replaced or removed entirely, depending on the preference of the wearer.
Breathable mesh makes up the main cover system of the Reebok Zigkick Tahoe. It allows air to be funneled into the interior chamber, so that the foot can feel well-ventilated. It’s durable, so it won’t tear apart easily.
Stitched overlays add more durability and form to the upper unit. They connect directly to the lacing system, thus providing a snug and secure fit that’s also adaptable to the liking of the wearer.
A pull tab is placed in the heel area to conveniently assist the runner in wearing and removing the shoe.
