Updates to Reebok Zig Pulse

  • Reebok presents a combination of basic and innovative through the Zig Pulse. It is a practical running shoe that possesses the brand’s signature ZigTech, which is easily visible in the thick zigzag outsole.
  • The shoe performs well in road-running and training workouts, and it is ideal for neutral pronators. Everyday runners who traverse the concretes and asphalts will find the Zig Pulse to be a reliable gear.
  • The shoe has a breathable four-way mesh upper that moves with the foot for a contoured and unrestrictive fit. It finishes off with a low-cut collar that allows quick stride transitions and ankle mobility.
  • The midsole and outsole work hand in hand to bring a reliable underfoot cushioning and a dynamic ride, resulting in an enhanced running performance that guarantees to be noticed by the shoe wearers.

Reebok Zig Pulse size and fit

The Zig Pulse has a standard running shoe length, and it is available in a wide range of sizes. The shoe’s overall construction assures a comfortable fit to wearers with a low to medium foot volume. Both the men’s and women’s versions are available in medium width.

Outsole

The outsole is the standout feature of the Reebok Zig Pulse, as it makes use of ZigTech – the brand’s proprietary technology – to deliver a superior running performance. ZigTech is present through the zigzag design of the sole, which works by absorbing impact at the heel and distributing the energy to the rest of the foot, resulting in forward propulsion. The ZigTech’s energy-returning capabilities also reduce stress in the runner’s shins, allowing for a comfortable run.

The heel and toe areas are of a durable rubber compound to provide sufficient traction for various road surfaces. The material also lends a flexible quality to the shoe.

Midsole

The midsole uses polyurethane foam to supply cushioning and comfort to the foot. The material is lightweight to reduce bulk from the shoe, thus permitting a relaxed, distraction-free run.

The shoe also includes an Ortholite sock liner for additional comfort and underfoot support.

There is a shank plate attached to the heel cup that delivers additional stability to the area.

Upper

The four-way stretch mesh upper for the Reebok Zig Pulse gives a customized fit, as it contours according to the shape of the foot. This design lets the foot move freely, along with the shoe, resulting in a ride that is comfortable and permissive.

The upper also features a seamless finish, which promotes a second-skin feel, with the aim of minimizing skin irritation and abrasions.

There is a PowerFrame installed in the midfoot area, acting as a supportive framework to keep the foot in place. The PowerFrame works further as the shoelaces are integrated into it, securing the foot even more for a problem-free run.

The ankle collar has a low-cut design to enable increased mobility, as well as quick transitions.
