For the third and final time, John Wall and Reebok teamed up and created the Wall Season 3: ZigEscape.

Despite sitting out the first few weeks because of a right knee injury, John Wall greeted the 2012-2013 NBA season with his latest signature basketball shoe. A lighter and sleeker version of the ZigSlash, the Reebok ZigEscape is designed to keep up with him without hindering his quick and agile moves.

These Reebok basketball shoes feature a low-profile ZigNano sole that rides closer to the ground for enhanced responsiveness and stability. Its mid-top silhouette and rubber outsole offer better movement and handling on the court.

Cushion. Staying true to its predecessors, the Reebok Wall Season 3: ZigEscape features the basketball-specific ZigNano technology. This low-to-the-ground cushioning offers increased responsiveness and court feel.

The ZigEscape’s removable sockliner also allows the wearer to increase or decrease the amount of cushioning and support in the shoe with the use of orthotics.

Traction. The Reebok ZigEscape has a non-marking rubber outsole with a full-length herringbone traction pattern. The herringbone-equipped outsole provides greater on-court grip for better control.

Length and Width. Wearers are reporting that these Reebok basketball shoes fit as expected but are a bit snug at the forefoot.

Lockdown. The Reebok Wall Season 3: ZigEscape has a full lace-up front closure to lock the midfoot firmly in place. Its mid-top design, TPU heel clip, full-length stability plate, and DMX Shear technology offer heightened impact support and stability.

The Reebok ZigEscape is equipped with a performance synthetic upper that is made of a mixture of materials. The tongue and heel are made of mesh for breathability. Synthetic leather and nubuck overlays make up the toe box and the DMX Shear paneling system for durability.

These Reebok basketball shoes also feature an inner bootie construction for added comfort and tongue and heel pull tabs for easy on and off.

Although a slimmer version of the original Reebok ZigSlash, the Reebok Wall Season 3: ZigEscape has a sporty upper that can be attributed to the Reebok Kamikaze.

Officially, the ZigEscape is John Wall’s second signature basketball shoe with Reebok. Personalized touches include a stylized “JW” logo on the tongue and heel while his signature can be seen just below the outer ankle collar.

Paying tribute to the game he loved to play as a child, the Reebok ZigEscape also features baseball stitching on the tongue and heel clip.

The Reebok ZigEscape comes in both toned and eye-catching colorways. It is available in Tin Grey/Black/White, Black/White/Red, Blue/Red/White, Red/Black/White, Green/White, Doomsday, and Digi Camo.
