Reebok Workout Mid Strap History

The Reebok Workout Mid strap is one of the resurgences of the classic Reebok Workout series. Launched in the 1980s, during the acquisition of Paul Fireman, the Reebok Workout was one of the collections that were released. It came in two variations-- the Workout Lo and the Workout Mid.

It easily stood out among the myriad of products introduced during the advent of fitness. The unique H-strap midfoot, which permitted a customizable fit, was added by designer Edward Lussier. The sneaker was constructed originally as a cross-trainer but because of its versatile style, it transcended into becoming a great street style accent.

Reebok Workout Mid Strap Style

Although not as popular as the other Workout packs, the Reebok Workout Mid Strap also exudes character. It is easy to look smooth in these sneakers, because of its leather upper, padded velcro mid strap, and textured rubber outsole. All in all, this sneaker can be perfect for everyday casual wear.

Fit & Sizing

The Reebok Workout Mid Strap is available in men’s sizes from 5.5 to 14. There are half sized available. As most users report that it is fairly true to size, people with average feet can fit in these perfectly.

Notable Features

The Workout series is known for its classic and casual style. For the Reebok Workout Mid Strap, users can easily achieve a sleeker look with its smooth full-grain leather upper. Not only is it stylish but it also makes the sneaker more comfortable and durable. It carries the Workout’s signature H-strap, albeit not as pronounced because of the mid strap velcro.

The leather-lined collar and insole provide more cushion, thus making this sneaker more comfortable. It is also composed of an abrasion-resistant rubber outsole for traction and durability. All these features are packed in a mid-height silhouette for additional support.
