  • Responsive cushioning and lightweight coverage, these are what the Reebok Sublite Duo LX has to offer. It is an entry-level shoe that’s great for those who are just getting into the world of running. It doesn’t have a lot of complicated features, but the ones that are used for it are very effective nonetheless.
  • The upper unit brings a breathable and comfortable coverage to the wearer. Utilizing thin, but durable material, the upper allows air to pass through it to maintain a well-ventilated interior environment for the foot. Leather overlays have been stitched onto the medial and lateral sides for added structure and snug support.
  • The SubLite Duo dual-density foam is used for the mid-sole unit of the Reebok Sublite Duo LX. It is a very durable foam that has varying densities that serve specific purposes to make the running experience much better and more enabled. The foam itself doesn’t wear off over time, so it stays sufficiently effective even after many uses.
  • The bottom layer of the SubLite Duo foam is exposed to the ground. It makes up most of the outsole unit of this shoe. It doesn’t give in to the abrasive nature of the asphalt, resisting wear and tear. Flex grooves are placed here, so natural movement is encouraged. Durable rubber is also put in critical areas for added protection.

The Reebok Sublite Duo LX is true to its size. The men and women’s versions follow the right measurements when it comes to its length. The available width is medium, so it accommodates the runner who has a medium sized foot. Its semi-curved shape actually lets the natural shape of the foot to acclimate well to it.

The Reebok Sublite Duo LX has an outsole unit that also acts as part of the main mid-sole unit. A high density foam is exposed to the ground. It is responsible for providing protection from impact and wear. It doesn’t easily lose structural integrity, so it remains effective, even after a while of using this shoe.

Durable carbon rubber is placed in the heel and forefoot sections of this shoe. This rubber material is very resilient against abrasion, so it adds a bit more protection for the shoe. It also delivers traction over the roads, making sure that surface control is afforded to the runner.

Flex grooves are designed horizontally along the forefoot section. They allow the platform to move with the foot rather than against it, thus giving a very responsive and smoother ride.

The dual injection SubLite Duo foam is a midsole technology that actually uses a platform that has varying densities. The top layer is where the foot rests. It is a soft and springy unit that delivers superb cushioning and support. It follows the natural movements of the foot, giving cushioning throughout the stride.

The bottom layer of this foam technology features a higher density version of the foam. It is the layer that handles the impact when striking the foot on the ground. It is also very resilient, just like the ones used in the Pegasus 35 running shoe, so it being exposed to the ground isn’t actually a problem because it resists abrasion.

A breathable mesh material serves as the main covering system for the Reebok Sublite Duo LX. It allows air to enter the shoe to keep a well-ventilated environment for the foot. It wraps around the foot well, even keeping a snug yet comfortable fit.

Leather overlays have been stitched onto the upper unit. They provide structure to the main unit, while also giving a customizable fit. Directly connected to the lacing system, these overlays cause the mesh to adjust in tandem with the tightening and loosening of the shoelaces.

The NanoBreeze tongue adds more breathable support to the foot. It is not irritating to the skin and it doesn’t retain sweat or moisture.
