- A lightweight, comfortable and suitably cushioned running experience is what the Reebok Sublite Duo Instinct has to offer. This shoe features the 3D ExoFilm technology, an upper design that delivers a stable coverage that does away with unnecessary stitching or overlays. The underfoot foam gives responsible cushioning that also doles out a springiness to every step.
- The upper unit of this running shoe uses a breathable mesh material to allow air in the interior section to cool and dry the foot. Minimal stitching is observed here and it is relegated to the forefoot reinforcement and the ends of the lacing system. Most of the upper doesn’t use added layers or stitched-on overlays, so it keeps the foot moving in a more freeing way.
- The Sublite Duo Instinct utilizes a dual-density foam in order to deliver a plush underfoot platform, as well as a durable ground-contact layer that’s resilient against impact and abrasion. This foam unit is very durable and it doesn’t wear off easily, keeping a consistent performance, even after many uses.
- The ground contact foam makes up most of the outsole unit of this running shoe, but durable rubber is also placed in critical areas where wear and abrasion are most common. The rubber is also responsible for providing surface traction.
The Reebok Sublite Duo Instinct has a regular running shoe length. It comes in sizes that adhere to the standard measurements for men and women. The available width is medium, so it accommodates those whose feet have medium widths. The semi-curved shape allows the natural shape of the foot to acclimate well to it.
The outsole unit of the Reebok Sublite Duo Instinct uses the ground contact high density mid-sole foam to act as the main surface platform. It is strong and resilient enough to resist abrasion and wear. Flex grooves are placed on its surface, so the natural flexibility of the foot is actually encouraged.
Durable carbon rubber is the shield that defends critical areas of the mid-sole foam from wear and tear, particularly in the heel and forefoot sections. It delivers protection from surface friction, as well as impact when landing the foot on the ground. Traction is also one of its purposes.
The SubLite Duo foam is dual-density foam that has a specific purpose for each layer. The topmost section offers a plush underfoot experience because it is the one that’s immediately set under the foot. It’s comfortable and responsive.
The second layer is a higher density foam that’s exposed to the ground. It is able to handle the impact forces that occur during the running activity. It doesn’t wear off or lose structural integrity easily, so it stays efficient, even after many uses.
A breathable mesh material serves as the main cover system for the Reebok Sublite Duo Instinct. It’s soft and comfortable to the skin, and it allows air to enter the shoe to keep the foot cool & dry. It has an appealing design on top of it.
A padded tongue and collar adds some cushioning to the shape of the foot. It also secures the runner and keeps the foot in place, preventing accidental shoe removals.
The 3D ExoFilm is a support system in the upper unit that stabilizes the foot by wrapping around it in a snug manner. It lets the foot feel as if the material is hugging it. It doesn’t away with stitching or added overlays, and it doesn’t have a heavy nature.
