Updates to Reebok SpeedFusion RS
- Speed is the key when it comes to the Reebok SpeedFusion RS. It was designed to fully provide great performance for beginners and advanced athletes alike. High quality components have been used to make sure that this shoe is able to last long. The reliable construction allows this road running shoe to truly deliver a solid running experience to the runner.
- The combination of a high quality mesh material and leather overlays make a very durable and efficient upper unit. It allows air to seamlessly enter the shoe to keep a well-ventilated environment in which to rest the foot, and it even hugs the foot in a snug yet secure manner.
- Responsive cushioning is afforded by a mid-sole foam that’s made from a high quality compound that has been injection-molded. Aside from delivering sure underfoot cushioning, it also allows the foot to move naturally because of its flexible nature. It is not a restrictive foam, so it makes sure that the runner experiences comfort all throughout.
- A non-marking rubber material makes up the outsole unit of the Reebok SpeedFusion RS. It is durable and it doesn’t wear off easily, so it is able to protect the rest of the sole unit with ease. Natural flexibility is afforded by flex grooves that have been placed in the forefoot section.
Reebok SpeedFusion RS size and fit
The Reebok SpeedFusion RS has a standard running shoe length. It is available in sizes that naturally follow the regular measurements for men and women. The width of this shoe is medium, so it accommodates the runner who has a medium sized foot. Its semi-curved shape allows the natural curvature of the foot to rest well into it.
Non-marking rubber is used in this running shoe. It is able to protect the foot from the damaging nature of the roads. It is like a shield that works against surface abrasion. It even gives responsible traction, so that each turn, swerve and brake of the runner is achieved with ease. In terms of durability and grip, it is comparable to the Kayano 25 from Asics.
Flex grooves are found in the forefoot section. They bend along with the natural movement of the foot, making sure that each step becomes more enabled. Forefoot lifts are much better because of this design.
The mid-sole unit of this running shoe uses an Injection Molded Ethylene vinyl acetate foam or IMEVA as the underfoot platform. It is a very responsive foam that delivers sure underfoot cushioning at all times. It’s not stiff, so it moves along with the foot.
A lightweight mesh material is used for the upper unit of the Reebok SpeedFusion RS. It delivers optimum ventilation, so that the foot remains cool and dry at all times. It makes sure that the foot is covered securely with its durable construction.
Leather overlays give security to the mid-foot section. They work with the lacing system to make the fit more customized. They also improve the overall structural integrity of the upper unit, making sure that the material is still capable of giving off a full-bodied look.
The low-cut design of this running shoe lets the foot twist in a more freeing way. The ankles, in particular, would be able to bend and move freely.
