Good to know
Stability and motion control add-ons are uncommon for workout shoes and are never present in CrossFit or weightlifting footwear. They are mostly found in walking shoes where the gait is easier to correct.
Training footwear typically weighs between 200g and 300g per shoe to accommodate agile workouts. Minimalist trainers go as low as 150g, while weightlifting shoes can go as high as 500g.

- The Reebok Quickburn TR is designed as a lightweight training shoe. The upper is constructed using sandwiched mesh and textile which provide the foot with a lightweight yet supportive wrap.
- The injection molded EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) foam is used as the trainer’s midsole. It attenuates shock and the way that it is sculpted allows it to stabilize the foot while working out.
- The outsole is crafted to deliver full ground contact. It is also durable and offers traction on various types of surfaces.
Designed for male athletes, the Reebok Quickburn TR is constructed to accommodate the shape and movements of men’s feet. It is available in US sizes 7 to 14 and comes only in a D - Medium width profile. The synthetic overlays retain the structure of the upper and also allow it to fit more closely to the foot.
Lining the bottom of the Reebok Quickburn TR is a rubber outsole. This compound is manufactured to be hard-wearing to endure indoor and outdoor workouts. It has flex grooves that promote natural foot flexion. As for the tread pattern, it is fashioned in a way that offers multi-directional traction.
The Reebok Quickburn TR is equipped with an injection-molded EVA midsole. The full-length foam cushioning protects the foot from impact while also providing a flexible platform that allows the foot to move naturally. It is also sculpted to support the foot better and keep it steady during workouts.
The midsole also has a 9 mm drop. This slight elevation of the heel angles the foot to facilitate deeper squats.
Making up the upper of the Reebok Quickburn TR is mesh. It uses a sandwiched construction that gives the upper its form and structure without adding too much weight. The material is also breathable, keeping the foot chamber well-ventilated. Synthetic overlays reinforce high-abrasion areas like the toe box, quarters, and the heel. They ensure that the mesh fabric won’t easily get snagged during high-intensity workouts.
A lace-up closure is present at the midfoot. It allows users to adjust the fit and customize it to how snug they want it to feel.
The foot is tucked in place using the padded tongue and the plush collar. The tongue also protects the instep from irritation while the collar prevents chafing and accidental shoe removal.
