Updates to Reebok One Glide
- The Reebok One Glide was created to provide protection and optimum comfort to the runner at all times. Durable materials were used to make this shoe, so its efficacy and quality performance are going to work well for a long time. It has a modern, sporty look that’s appealing to those who want to have a running shoe that looks like it’s really meant for running.
- Breathable and supportive coverage are handled by a high quality mesh material and synthetic overlays that have been stitched onto the upper unit. They essentially keep the foot locked down for a consistent and unrestricted performance. The inner sleeve is smooth on the skin, so foot-irritation is prevented at all times.
- The mid-sole unit uses a fusion of foam technologies that help in delivering a reliable and responsive underfoot experience. The platform itself is very durable, so it stays effective, even after many uses. The forefoot section has even been tuned to deliver more push when stepping off the ground, granting a smoother and enabled toe-off.
- The outsole of the Reebok One Glide has been biomechanically engineered to move along with the foot. Flex grooves allow natural movement to take place; the design doesn’t limit the capability of the foot to flex. Durable rubber covers the sole unit and protects it from abrasion and wear.
Reebok One Glide size and fit
The Reebok One Glide is true to its size. The men and women’s versions come in sizes that follow the regular measurements for length. This shoe’s width is medium, so it accommodates those who have medium sized feet. Its semi-curved shape lets the foot acclimate to it when wearing it.
Adequate traction and protection is afforded by a carbon rubber material that covers the rest of the sole unit. It shields the foot from wear and tear, making surface contact a very safe affair. This layer allows the shoe to last long.
The outsole unit has been biomechanically engineered to work with the foot when it comes to doling out the running motion. Flex grooves go from the mid-foot to the forefoot area. They allow the wearer’s foot to flex more naturally, thus letting each step become more freeing.
The C48 foam that runs from the heel to the mid-foot provide responsible cushioning to the runner. It is able to handle the impact shock when landing the foot on the ground, thus preventing discomfort or injury.
The R52 foam is actually much more responsive. This soft foam has high-rebound properties, efficiently allowing the runner to have a more propelled toe-off. It runs from the mid-foot to the forefoot section, thus completing this two-layer mid-sole unit.
The upper unit uses a dual personality mesh. They are divided in two. One is in the forefoot section, which is a softer and more flexible material. It allows the foot to move naturally while also allowing air to enter the shoe for a dry and cool experience.
The second mesh material is much more robust in form and it’s found in the rear of the shoe. It hugs the foot in place and makes sure that it won’t slip off or get dislodged from the shoe. It is still breathable, but it’s very capable of providing sure security for the foot.
A low-cut design gives the ankles more capability to twist and move. Synthetic overlays and the welded logo hug the foot in a customizable way because they’re connected to the lacing system.
