Reebok InstaPump Fury OG Halloween History
One of the most well-known, if not the best, shoe models from Reebok is the InstaPump Fury. Designed by iconic footwear designer Steven Smith, it initially released in 1994 with a then-futuristic design and technology. For one, it features Reebok's Pump technology – an internal inflation mechanism that provides a unique and customized fit to the wearer sans the traditional lacing system. It has been re-released various times since its debut via both in-house and collaborations.
In 2016, Reebok released just in time before the Halloween a shoe that would suit the occasion – the Reebok InstaPump Fury OG Halloween. It took the iconic and retro running silhouette, the InstaPump Fury, and made a Halloween, punk-inspired colorway in an all-black color with skull graphics, denim overlays, and stud details. It also features a silver metallic toe cap, an EVA midsole, and a graphic removable sockliner.
