Reebok has a hit with the Fusion Flexweave. Light, fast, durable, and well-cushioned, the Reebok Fusion Flexweave is a shoe that can do anything — and do it well.
- The Reebok Fusion Flexweave is a running shoe that’s designed for those who have neutral pronation. It makes use of a street-worthy look to accommodate casual shoe-aficionados and collectors. The façade still has an athletic-shoe vibe to welcome regular runners.
- Flexweave is a textile that’s made using a figure-eight weave. This structure allows the upper to be durable yet supportive. It also aims to heighten the visual flair of this running companion.
- The midsole unit makes use of two primary foam compounds, namely the Floatride core and the EVA rim. These two materials have the purpose of delivering a lightweight, responsive and ultimately long-lasting cushioning. A rubber exterior protects the rest of the sole unit from wear and tear.
The Reebok Fusion Flexweave was designed to be true to size. When it comes to length, it obliges the regular preferences of consumers. The width profile of the women’s version is B – Medium while the one for men has the D – Medium variant. The semi-curved shape of the last allows the natural curvature of the human foot to be secure.
A rubber layer makes up the outsole unit of the Reebok Fusion Flexweave. Its goal is to protect the platform’s foam from the abrasive nature of the asphalt. It also provides traction via its non-prominent gripping nodes.
Horizontal, vertical, and diagonal grooves permit multidirectional flexibility. These shallow trenches also direct underfoot support to the area of contact or the section that would most likely need it most.
The Reebok Fusion Flexweave has a Floatride foam core, which is touted to be significantly more lightweight than most options on the market. Its purpose is to provide responsive cushioning throughout the running session. This midsole foam is as durable as the cushioning used in the Brooks Launch 6.
An ethylene vinyl acetate or EVA foam serves as a rim or carrier unit for the core material. Its job is to retain the structural integrity of its charge while also complimenting it with a bit more cushioning.
The upper unit of the Reebok Fusion Flexweave features the Flexweave technology. It is a textile that is constructed using a figure-eight weave. Such a design strengthens the structure of the façade while also accommodating the natural shape of the wearer’s foot. Moreover, it has minute pores that permit air into the foot-chamber.
The low-cut design of this model encourages ankle freedom and speedier movements. It also follows the current design trends.
A heel clip is fused to the back of the shoe. This external layer holds the foot in place and prevents it from wobbling or exiting the interior involuntarily.
The thinly padded tongue and collar support the upper sections of the wearer’s foot. These parts of the product also prevent accidental shoe-removals.
A traditional lacing system with discreet synthetic eyelets helps the textile silhouette when it comes to providing a snug and secure fit.
Two pull tabs are placed on the upper. One is on the instep while the other is on the back part of the collar. These two loops are meant to make it easier for runners to wear and remove the Reebok Fusion Flexweave.
