Reebok Furylite Graphic History
Reebok held a year-round celebration in 2014 to honor the Insta Pump Fury, which marked its silver anniversary that year. Reebook collaborated with a lot of well-known designers to produce new colorways and innovate on the Insta Pump Fury. The celebration drew so much attention that it didn’t take long before Reebok launched an Insta Pump Fury-inspired product.
In fact, in January 2015, the first Furylite shoes were released. They had the silhouette of the Insta Pump Fury, just sleeker because the new model did not anymore carry the Reebok Pump and a sizable portion of the original model’s geometric overlays.
Like its predecessor, the Furylite has been subjected to various look makeovers. In March 2015, the first Reebok Furylite Graphic pack for women was launched. Their uppers were bathed in colorful 90s-inspired jagged shapes. Since then, a lot of other graphics--floral prints, paint blots, camouflage patterns--have been used to decorate the Furylite. Indeed, the shoes have become a renegade designer’s canvas.
Fortunately, the artistry did not stop at the factories because the company now allows the customization of the Reebok Furylite Graphic by the buyers themselves. Through this, each pair of Furylite kickers becomes uniquely expressive and artfully personal.
Reebok Furylite Graphic Style
As the name suggests, the Reebok Furylite Graphic features pictures and splashes of colors. Indeed, they are artistically appealing, and they suit those who are open to aesthetic experimentation and creative display of personality. If none of the ready-made colorways suits the buyer, they can actually go ahead and design one to their liking. This makes each pair even more unique and personal.
Fit & Sizing
The Reebok Furylite Graphic shoes for come in standard widths for the men and women. The men’s sizing is from 4 to 14 while the ladies can choose their best fit from sizes 5 to 9. Reebok uses a midfoot saddle to keep the foot in place and to provide a snug, yet comfortable closure.
Even at first glance, one can already tell what stands out most in the Reebok Furylite Graphic. As the name suggests, it is the very vibrant and refreshing upper design with loud prints that easily captures the attention of onlookers as well as sneaker fans. For those who wish to make a very clear fashion statement, one can hardly go wrong in this shoe.
- The Reebok Furylite Graphic uses the 3D Ultralite on the midsole to provide effective cushioning.
- The midsole is purposely colored cream white so as not to steal attention from the artful display on the upper.
- The outsole has high-abrasion rubber in key areas to enhance grip.
- A removable sockliner adds cushioning and support in this shoe.
- There is high-impact rubber in areas that are prone to wear and tear.
