Good to know

- Not to be confused with the Reebok Driftium, the Driftium Ride is released as an alternative shoe to the aforementioned. Like the original Driftium, the Reebok Driftium Ride is designed for the long miles.

- This shoe offers a more targeted midfoot support than the original Driftium, thanks to the Flexweave feature in its upper. Meanwhile, all other features remain the same. The Reebok Driftium ride is also built for daily running and caters to neutral pronators.

The Reebok Driftium Ride comes in a sizing scheme that follows the standard running shoe. Runners with low to moderate foot volumes would find an accommodating fit in their usual size preference, while those with a high foot volume could try going a half-size up. It is always best to fit the shoe in store prior to buying. The Reebok Driftium Ride is available in Medium width, both in the men’s and women’s versions.

The high-abrasion rubber outsole of the Reebok Driftium Ride delivers traction and durability, especially in the shoe’s high-wear areas. This quality also allows the outsole to have a longer lifespan and be sturdier compared to the common carbon rubber.

A platform of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) makes up the midsole of the Reebok Driftium Ride. Similar to many other running shoes, EVA foam is meant to cushion the underfoot, absorbing the shock with each step, and providing sufficient energy return throughout the gait cycle. The Asics Gel Contend 4 presents a similarly constructed midsole.

For an additional layer of cushioning, the Driftium Ride also offers a molded sockliner.

Breathability and comfort are the main benefits provided by the mesh upper of the Reebok Driftium Ride. In addition, the upper also delivers coverage to keep the foot protected from the elements. The mesh hand-in-hand with a fabric lining that is designed to be soft and to prevent skin irritation.

In the midfoot area is a panel of woven material that is designed with Flexweave technology. This feature equips the shoe to be more supportive than ever, which results in a customized fit and, overall, a more comfortable ride.
