Reebok Club C 85 Melted Metals History

The original Club C 85 (the C here stands for Champion) was a tennis shoe that was a more minimalist version of Reebok’s Revenge Plus. It had a full grain leather upper and a comfortable interior that made it a favorite among tennis enthusiasts. The shoe also captured the attention of exercise fanatics in the 80s.

The Club C 85 was so popular that Reebok kept introducing new iterations of the model such as the Club C 85 Vintage, Club C 85 Pastels, Club C 85 Diamond, and so on. In 2017, a new version based on the classic came out again—the Reebok Club C 85 Melted Metals. This time the shoe’s leather upper was dressed in rich colors with a metallic and pearl luster finish.  A simple lace-up front and a low-top design finished off the clean and sleek street-ready look.
