Reebok Classic Nylon Wild History

The Classic Nylon Wild’s silhouette is based on the Classic Nylon which was launched in 1987 as a running shoe. As part of the Classics line, it had the collection’s trademark superior performance and style that was welcomed by both the sport and lifestyle scene. It became wildly popular especially in the UK where it became a sneaker culture icon.

The original Classic Nylon had a nylon upper with suede accents and a sculpted EVA midsole. Through the years, this silhouette had been reissued, reworked as part of collaborations, and issued new colorways.

For the Autumn/Winter Collection of 2015, the Classic Nylon was given a new look through the Classic Nylon Wild. This iteration featured much of the same details as the original except for the striking animal print nylon on the upper’s base which contrasts against the suede.
