Reebok Classic Leather Urban Descent History
A growing interest in urban exploration or urbex, as enthusiasts may call it, owed its fame from human nature's deep curiosity and this unearthed the thrill of the unknown. Many videos sprouted spontaneously on the internet and media featuring abandoned waterways, mansion, theme parks and so on. The expanding number of adventurers reached out to outdoor gear manufacturers and even shoe companies.
Reebok took notice of this developing craze and incorporated the deserted and unnoticed human-made environment scheme into their designs and released a Reebok Classic Urban Descent Pack in March of 2017. The collection includes monochromatic forms of the Reebok Workout Plus and Reebok Classic Leather in earth tone colorways.
Originally released as a tonal silhouette mimicking tints and themes from the under-appreciated terrain, the Reebok Classic Leather Urban Descent gradually introduced a variety of elements and variations to its style. By adding speckled midsoles, which is another Reebok innovation, the recent sneaker models exhibited a more relevant spirit to the modern underground image.
Reebok Classic Leather Urban Descent Style
The Reebok Classic Leather Urban Descent's lowkey image conforms with a slew of clothing options that are decent in most of the occasions. It's low top silhouette, coupled with a unique model, enables users to sport the shoe with tracksuits and shorts from summer to autumn. The sneaker even looks presentable when partnering with an all black apparel. Jeans and joggers can also be worn to emphasize the elements of the shoe better.
Fit & Sizing
The Reebok Classic Leather Urban Descent maintains the original release's sizing which runs true to size. The padded collar and the textile lining secures the feet firmly as supported by the front lace system of fastening. Sizes for men are available from 5-15 with a width of D medium.
The initial release of the Reebok Classic Leather Urban Descent in 2017 features mono-colored types which are not yet introduced to the Speckled midsole. The later versions include this new midsole with hints of different colors in its upper's overlays. Along with this lightly spotted midsole, the official Reebok Union Jack logo at the vamp is dipped in white. A
n overlay covering the vamp is perforated for added breathability. Colorways that are released closer to the end of 2017 include the sandstone, maroon, black/washed jade, and the collegiate navy.
- The Reebok Classic Leather first promoted the Speckle Midsole Pack in 2016 which was included in multiple designs.
- A gum rubber outsole is utilized for superb traction and durability while the EVA midsole provides cushioning.
- The upper of the sneaker consists of mesh material, nylon, and nubuck for a cozy feel but also adds support.
- The first release of the Urban Descent series involves a trio of colorways which are olive, off-white, and blue-gray.
