Reebok Classic Leather Clip ELE History
After the successful use of textile leather on the Freestyle, the UK based company decided to apply it on a running shoe for the first time in 1983 and called it the Reebok Classic Leather. Aimed at fashion-conscious men and women, the shoe rose to popularity because of its simplistic design and streamlined silhouette. It is widely considered as Reebok's first true success story.
The Reebok Classic Leather was inevitably adapted by the masses and is now known as a lifestyle sneaker staple. Throughout its decades of existence, the shoe is the subject of several collaborations. Some of these collaborations are fittingly called collector's items due to its premium quality and limited releases.
Some of the most notable collaborations are with the brand Palace Skateboards and artist Kendrick Lamar, while A-list celebrities like Jay-Z and Travi$ Scott, who have been seen wearing it also contribute to the shoe's popularity.
One of the pair’s reinterpretations is the Reebok Classic Leather Clip ELE. It was released as part of the band’s Fall/Winter 2016 Collection.

The gentlemen can choose from sizes 6 to 13, while the ladies who want to cop should go 1.5 sizes down from their usual shoe size. Although the pair runs true to size, a number of purchasers said that it could run a bit smaller than usual.
