Staying true to the construction of the initial Answer IV, the Limited Edition maintains the lace lockdown under a zipper enclosure which is then supported by a velcro strap to keep the zipper handle sliding down.

The sneaker is constructed in a men's D medium width. Men who would like to avail the sneaker can purchase it on a range from 6 to 13.

On and off the court, wearers can gloriously fashion the Reebok Answer IV Limited Edition with flair. Tinting the majority of the sneaker in hues that are on the same side of the color spectrum showcase a low profile image though it's constructed as a mid top. The silky tumbled, and synthetic leather of the upper makes it more than casual street wear which can be emphasized by partnering slim pants that do not shroud the shoe.

Aside from the sneaker being a "Limited Edition," the selling point of its exclusivity revolves around the colorway and the AI elements found on the outsole. The "Only the Strong Survive" Iverson mantra was etched on the outsole over his portrait with him sporting cornrows in black and white.

Probably the most smooth-looking silhouette on the Iverson series of Reebok shoes, the Answer IV recaps hints of previous designs into an exquisite masterpiece. Spearheaded by Todd Krinsky, Reebok Global VP of Classics Basketball & Entertainment, the pinnacle shoe was continuously revamped into different colorways and in limited packs.

The Answer IV was first introduced to the world in 2000 at a time where the Philadelphia 76ers was on their way to the NBA finals. Allen Iverson topped the bill with his MVP award along with his Finals appearance against the Lakers. Although the 76ers didn't win the NBA trophy, the fourth rendition of the Answer sneaker was a crucial component of the series that struck the footwear realm.

The first attempt to resurface the sneaker was in 2012, which featured a black and white colorway that stayed true to the original. It has the DMX Cushioning on it as well as the tumbled leather for its upper. The 2012 release was the spark plug of soon to be retros of the Answer IV model.

2017 was a big year for AI's fifth signature sneaker as fans witnessed two re-releases of the Answer IV. One of the releases was the revamp of the famous colorway when Iverson broke Tyronne Lue's defense and hit a jump shot. Humiliating enough, AI even stepped over Lue as the Lakers guard was seen crumbling below him. The other half of the retro pack does not include insults but more of pride and principle. The Reebok Answer IV Limited Edition pays tribute to Iverson's whole personality which is even made slicker by coloring it tonal leather hues.

  • The sneaker utilizes a DMX Foam for midsole cushioning which is coupled by a 3D Ultralite rubber outsole for grip and traction. The 3D Ultralite material is lighter compared to standard outsoles.
  • The Answer IV Limited Edition was released in October 2017.
  • The upper consists of a combination of tumbled and synthetic leather which can be zipped together in the middle.
  • A pull tab on the heel ensures easy access.
