- Reebok presents the All Terrain Craze, an off-road runner that effortlessly handles even the most rugged trails. This shoe intends to deliver a worthy performance in obstacle-course racing, technical trails, and other off-road excursions. Its top-to-bottom structure consists of robust features that let the runner move confidently and without worry.
- The upper is made of ripstop, a nylon fabric that is woven together to prevent rips – hence the name. Despite its high durability, the material is extremely lightweight, thus promoting a comfortable wear.
- Meanwhile, an injection-molded foam forms the shoe’s midsole, producing a cushioning that is responsive and flexible. The CRTek high-abrasion rubber in the outsole enables traction no matter how rough the trails are.
With a standard shoe length, the Reebok All Terrain Craze is true to size. The shoe’s construction offers a comfortable fit to runners with low to moderate foot volumes. The shoe is available in medium width for both the men’s and women’s versions.
Reebok’s CRTek outsole is made of a durable carbon rubber that has a high resistance to abrasion, protecting especially the high-wear areas.
The outsole’s lug pattern displays rows of triangles that point toward either the forefoot or heel. This design enables multidirectional grip, as well as a swift gait cycle.
The All Terrain Craze uses injection-molded ethylene-vinyl acetate (IMEVA) in its midsole, which gives the shoe an underfoot cushioning with an adequate amount of energy return. IMEVA equips the foot with a long-lasting comfort, as it absorbs impact and distributes it evenly across the foot, thus reducing pressure on specific areas.
The shoe also includes a removable sock liner made of EVA that offers extra cushioning, giving runners added comfort as the miles pack on.
Although not as common as traditional mesh, ripstop fabric is efficient as an upper material as it equips the shoe with toughness and a tear-resistant quality. Ripstop allows the runner to smoothly go through technical trails without distractions that are usually caused by rocks or debris tearing through the shoe and injuring the foot.
Aside from its durable characteristic, the upper also possesses water drains and a gusseted tongue that sheds water and keeps away debris.
The All Terrain Craze has a low-cut ankle collar. This feature permits the foot to move freely and fast. The collar also keeps the foot steady to prevent unnecessary movements, which may lead to slipping or sliding.
