By being able to splay your toes, you would feel more planted to the ground, especially when you are working out.         If you’ve ever done balance exercises, you might have noticed that whenever you start losing balance, your toes spread out to compensate, resulting in regained composure.         How do you know if you need wide Skechers training shoes?

        • Take measurements later in the day, when your feet have had enough time to expand fully;
        • During the outlining procedure, be sure that the tip of the pen/pencil/marker does not go under the foot;
        • If you plan on wearing socks with your training shoes, be sure to put them on while getting the outline;
        • If one foot is longer and/or wider, be sure to consider the one with the bigger measurements because it is far easier to deal with a shoe that has a little extra room, than wearing something that’s smaller and narrower.
        • If your width measurements fall between Medium and Wide, try going with the Skechers’ Relaxed Fit profile. It fits rather snug in the heel and the midfoot but offers more space in the toe box.
