The low-top Raf Simons Detriot Runner displays a revolutionary take on the classic running kicks and flawlessly fused the luxurious elements with the street style. It flaunts its think canvas upper detailed with stout mudguard and toe cap made of rubber.  It has the thick tread pattern on its outsole to deliver a chunky, sporty, and athletic aesthetics.

Many wearers expressed excitement in flaunting this experimental silhouette because of its neck-breaking features. Few were spotted donning the Adidas x Raf Simons Detroit Runner with tattered jeans or joggers paired with plain tees and leather jacket. To highlight the polished midsole details of this shoe, most wearers sport this with monochromatic ensembles.

While this kick displays simple design on its monochromatic canvas upper, its unique midsole and hefty outsole tread pattern captivate the attention of many buyers and onlookers. The futuristic midsole is dressed in shiny details to enhance the ultramodern look and avant-garde vibe further.

Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons started his brand in 1995 and was recognized for his ultramodern designs. 17 years after, luxury brand Christian Dior commissioned Simons to be the Creative Director of their brand, yet he left the firm just after three years.

In 2016, Simons was hired by the Calvin Klein company as its Chief Creative Officer and launched his first ever collection under this brand in 2017 for their Fall collection. Simons contributed significant influence in shaping the current fashion by solidifying Calvin Klein as one of the leading lifestyle brands around the globe.

Because of his contribution to the lifestyle fashion, the Three Stripes brand did not let the chance pass of executing a collaboration with Raf Simons to create a mixture of street and luxury style. Together, their first series of futuristic sneakers lineup was unveiled during the 2017 Fall/Winter collection. This series put together revolutionized and unconventional versions of the renowned Stan Smith, Spirit, Ozweego, and the Detriot Runner.

The Raf Simons Detroit Runner flaunts a sufficient balance of the shoe's original details with Simons' vision. It displays the contrast of timeless and straightforward canvas upper with the futuristic look of its rubber sole. Some described this pair as the next generation's running footwear style and appears to be a running kick fixed atop of another heavy rubber sole.
