Fit & Sizing
The Puma Easy Rider Graphic x Daily Paper is available in standard sizes for men only. The leather material used on the upper may stretch after extended use. Thus, it is recommended to get a pair that fits true to size. Also, the central lace-up closure may help the wearer adjust the fit to his liking.
A stand-out feature of the men’s Puma Easy Rider Graphic x Daily Paper is its printed panels. The elaborate graphics and color-blocking patterns pay homage to the vibrant kits of the African football teams sponsored by Puma, namely Cameroon, Ghana, and Ivory Coast.
Puma x Daily Paper Easy Rider Graphic History
The Puma x Daily Paper Easy Rider Graphic is part of the Autumn-Winter 17 collection of Puma and is the second collaboration between Puma and African brand Daily Paper. Composed of football team kits, outerwear, classic sneaker silhouettes, and accessories, the collection is a nod to Puma’s 20th anniversary with African Football.
The Puma Daily Rider was one of the hottest sneakers in the late 70s. In this capsule collection, the Daily Paper added a touch of Africa to this Puma classic by placing graphic panels on the sidewalls. The anniversary emblem is conveniently placed on the upper part of the tongue.
In order to launch this collection, Puma and Daily Paper transformed an old dumping ground at the Accra Senior Girls School into a football pitch complete with dug-outs, spectator seating, and changing facilities. The fully-kitted football pitch will not only be used by the school girls, but it will be open to all young footballers in Accra as a way of supporting their development in the sport and empowerment for the future. This project was made possible through the help of Right to Play foundation.
