Puma x Big Sean Suede Mid History

Collaborations may have been something of a recent phenomenon, but collaborative efforts have so far generated some of the most interesting and innovative sneaker designs in the history of footwear by far. One such partnership is between Puma and Detroit-based rapper Big Sean. The duo's first collection was introduced in early 2018, and it includes the brand's classic silhouettes revamped with Detroit-inspired branding and Big Sean's signature style of classy-street. It comprised of hoodie, sweatpants, graphic shirt, and reinterpreted versions of Puma Suede and Clyde.

A few months later, Puma and Big Sean released their next collection which essentially builds on the previous one but this time features products that incorporate hues suited for the fall and winter seasons. This range includes more hoodies, long-sleeve tees, printed shirts, outerwear, button-down polo, bags, accessories, and a couple of Puma's iconic shoes. The collection also includes the Puma x Big Sean Suede Mid which debuted during the first collection. This sneaker was released in the following colorway options: Jelly Bean, Shell, and Whisper White.

Puma x Big Sean Suede Mid Style

The Puma x Big Sean Suede Mid’s new yet recognizable silhouette exude a retro yet contemporary look that most consumers found stylish. Despite its taller height, the shoe remains sleek and minimal making it an easy pair to match with an array of ensembles. Let its tonal upper be the focal point of your look by dressing it in a monochromatic ensemble or complement its hues with same colored accessories or bag.

Fit & Sizing

The Puma x Big Sean Suede Mid is offered exclusively in men's sizes that range from 7 to 14. Ladies who fancy a pair should go 1.5 sizes down from their normal shoes size. For example, your standard women's sizing is 9 then you need to get a size 7.5 shoe every time you shop in the men's category. This sneaker's inner bootie construction is reported to fit snug than usual, but some have mentioned that it will loosen a bit after a few uses.

The brand posted this on the product's page for further information about this pair's width. For shoe sizes 7 to 8 the width measures 10cm, while sizes 8.5 to 10.5 have a 10.5 cm width and sizes 11 and 12 measures 11 cm in width.

This shoe's recognizable aesthetic combined with a new mid-top silhouette provides a fresh and more contemporary take on the Puma Suede. Staying true to Big Sean's classy street design ethos, sleek lines and subtle branding give a touch of luxe to the shoe.
