Training shoes from Puma never stop to surprise with their vivid and unconventional designs. The woven sole unit of Puma Weave XT puts it among the brand’s head-turners in the training shoe category.

The braided foam not only gives the trainer a feminine vibe but also serves a functional purpose. It makes the platform flexible enough to keep up with all sorts of foot movements. Be it a boxing session in the ring, a tough workout at the gym or a leisurely walk in the street — the shoe is ready for it.

Endorsed by Adriana Lima. The promotional campaign for Puma Weave XT features the Brazilian model and actress Adriana Lima working out in the trainer. The combination of her athletic determination and womanliness inspired this Puma silhouette. This is not the first trainer released in collaboration with Adriana. Another one is the provocative Puma LQDCELL Shatter XT.

Resilience and traction. Durable rubber pieces line the forefoot and the heel areas of the trainer. The forefoot section protrudes up to the toes. It offers extra protection in the part which is most prone to unexpected bumps. These rubber components are made grippy to deliver traction on gym floors. They also prevent the foam midsole from wearing out too quickly, even when used on concrete pavements.

Woven flexibility. The most eye-catching part of the Puma Weave XT is its entwined midsole. Shaped like a braid, this foam layer allows for more underfoot flexibility. With the right shoe, you rarely think about what position your foot takes as you work out. Thus, the ability to bend the foot easily is key for your comfort.

Other than being flexible, the foam midsole is also ready to absorb the impact from each jump. It cushions the foot throughout the agile workout.

Lightweight foot containment. The midsole is not the only part of the shoe that’s woven. It features a woven webbing upper for a soft and breathable foothold. The elastic cross straps on the sides also contribute to lateral support. The original tongue construction and the extended heel collar help to secure fit around the ankle for multi-directional movements.
