Puma Vikky Woven Metallic SoftFoam History

The Puma Vikky, one of the classic Puma sneakers, is the women-exclusive version of the other classic – the Puma Suede. It was based on the silhouette of the Suede but narrowed down to better conform to the women's feet. The upper is composed of suede all throughout with contrasting leather Puma Formstrip on the lateral sides. The outsole is of rubber material in a low-profile design.

Later on, it received a material upgrade through the SoftFoam Comfort sock liner thus re-introduced as the Puma Vikky SoftFoam. Such upgrade provides additional comfort, soft cushioning, and an anti-odor coating for fresh feet. Up to this day, the Vikky continues as one of the highly sought fashion sneakers for women not only style-wise but also because of the comfort. It has also been released in various colorways and versions with material upgrades.

Puma introduced in 2016 the Puma Vikky Woven Metallic SoftFoam as one of the many versions of the Vikky SoftFoam. It exhibits the silhouette of the classic Vikky, but the upper material upgraded from suede to metallic synthetic leather.
