  • The Puma Tsugi Blaze evoKNIT was designed as a multi-purpose training shoe. It takes its cue from the Puma Blaze of Glory (B. O. G.) and the Puma Tsugi Shinsei. “Tsugi” is the Japanese word for “next”. It emphasizes the progressive style of the trainer which was inspired by modern Japanese culture and technology.
  • The influence of the B. O. G. is traceable in the unique dual-panel lacing system, which provides a secure and customized fit. A fully engineered evoKNIT material enhances the snug fit of the shoe. It is also flexible and morphs to the natural motion of the foot. The elasticated heel wrap contributes to snugness and steadiness.
  • The midsole utilizes the IGNITE foam to deliver soft cushioning and responsiveness. The façade of the IGNITE sole features sculptured tooling for added support. The rubber outsole ensures the grip and traction of the trainer, while the flex grooves allow for a natural bending of the foot during the movement.

The Puma Tsugi Blaze evoKNIT is offered in men’s version only. The sizes are ranging from US 7.5 to 13. The shoe runs true to size. The available width is D - Medium.

The Puma Tsugi Blaze evoKNIT utilizes a rubber outsole, which incorporates two sticky rubber components in strategic places for enhanced grip and traction.

The “razor-edged” pattern of the unit features deep grooves, which stretch out from side to side across the sole. Such disposition of the grooves maximizes the grip while also offering ample flexibility to accommodate the natural stride of the foot.

The cushioning of the Puma Tsugi Blaze evoKNIT is provided by Puma’s staple IGNITE midsole, which is a thick PU foam unit. It is placed throughout the entire length of the shoe for optimum cushioning and shock-absorption. The IGNITE is also a durable and responsive component that delivers a high energy return. The external surface of the midsole makes use of sculptured tooling for added support and durability.

The IGNITE material is quite common for the highly-rated Puma trainers. One of such examples is the Ignite evoKNIT Lo.

The fully engineered evoKNIT upper offers lightweight, form-fitting coverage. The open weave detailing in the toe box make sure that the shoe stays ventilated.

The sock-like collar, as well as the pull tab at the heel, allows for an easy on and off wear of the trainer.

The Tsugi Blaze evoKNIT utilizes a unique lace closure system, which comprises of two separate leather/suede panels. They are located in the strategic places of the midfoot to offer a secure, yet non-constraining fit.
