Notable Features

The Puma Suede Platform Trace Bold is almost entirely identical to its mother model, the Puma Suede Platform Trace. It boasts similar elevated, stacked, and rugged sole unit that holds together the Suede’s signature suede upper DNA. What makes this one different is a single feature – its colors. Unlike the Suede Platform Trace, this “Bold” version comes with bold and refreshing colors. The upper is almost tonal sans the color pop on the heel.

Puma Suede Platform Trace Bold History

Sneakerheads and Puma followers are all familiar with the Puma Suede shoe. It is one of the footwear brand’s pillars in the sneaker category that, in fact, originally designed as a performance basketball shoe when it made its debut in the late ‘60s.

A shoe that carries a rich history that touched both the sports and fashion industries, the Suede only proves time and time again how it can always be synonymous with the words iconic and classic. It has made such strong impact in the sneaker community that even after 50 years, it remains relevant and a favorite across generations.

In 2017, Puma’s iconic Suede model got another makeover after many modernized Suede versions. The signature suede upper DNA is borrowed and placed on top of an elevated stacked midsole and a rugged outsole. It resulted in a new silhouette called the Puma Suede Platform Trace. Later on, this platform model further transformed - fresh, bold colors were introduced while the rest of the original features were retained. The resulting shoe model is called the Puma Suede Platform Trace Bold.
