Updates to Puma Prowl Alt Mesh

  • The Puma Prowl Alt Mesh workout trainer was designed for a variety of activities that involve agile movements. It features an open mesh in the upper unit to deliver minimal, lightweight support and maximum breathability.
  • The foot is ensured to stay supported by Puma’s dynamic lacing system. There are also two loops attached to help with the on-and-off wear.
  • A lightweight cushioning is achieved by the combination of a Softfoam sock liner and an EVA midsole.
  • The shoe makes use of the rubber outsole for protection. The textured surface works together with strategically-placed sticky rubber compounds to provide grip and traction. There are also grooves added for the optimum flexibility of the shoe.

Puma Prowl Alt Mesh size and fit

The Puma Prowl Alt Mesh is available in women’s version only. The sizes range from 5.5 to 11. The shoe is offered in a B – Medium width. It tends to run on the small side, so it is advisable to go half-a-size to one full size up to achieve maximum comfort.

Outsole

The rubber outsole of the Puma Prowl Alt Mesh acts like a shield against wear and tear to provide optimum durability to the trainer.

The shoe features a textured surface, which provides grip and traction throughout the outsole. A sticky rubber compound is placed on the heel and forefoot sections of the sole to further enhance the grip.

There are flex grooves added to the outsole unit and they provide the flexibility needed to accommodate a natural stride.

Midsole

The Prowl Alt Mesh employs an EVA midsole for lightweight cushioning and comfort. It is thickened at the heel and is a little extended up on the lateral and medial sides to offer more stability to the rearfoot.

The Softfoam sock liner is employed to maximize the cushioning. It also adds a plush underfoot experience.

Upper

The upper is designed to be extremely lightweight, featuring a thin, transparent underlay with open engineered mesh on top. The mesh has large ventilation pores for supreme ventilation.

This Puma trainer features an alternative closure system, in which laces stretch across the midfoot all the way to the bottom of the quarters for a maximized lockdown of the foot.

The pull tabs are placed on the tongue and the heel collar to help with a fast and easy on-and-off wear.
