  • The Puma Osu NM is a running shoe that is able to provide comfort and protection to the wearer at all times. It’s designed with the neutral runner in mind, with a flexible ride that’s able to accommodate natural movement.
  • The upper unit uses strips of synthetic suede that’s stitched horizontally across the entire shoe’s frame. Underneath that material is a lightweight and breathable mesh, which hugs the foot securely. A hook-and-loop system is employed in this model; there’s no more need for traditional lace-ups because adjusting the fastener is all it takes to customize the fit.
  • The mid-sole unit of the Puma Osu NM has a segmented pattern. This allows the runner to move more naturally because the platform is more flexible. A responsive foam is used here and it’s responsible for cushioning to the foot and keeping it safe from impact forces. Additional underfoot comfort is provided by a sock liner, which also has anti-microbial and anti-moisture properties.
  • A high-quality rubber compound covers the mid-sole unit and protects it from the abrasive nature of the asphalt. It also provides traction, which is important when it comes to gaining control of movements on the surface. Flex grooves on the surface of the outsole enhance the flexibility of the entire platform.

The Puma Osu NM follows the sizing schemes that most runners are used to. Standard measurements were used in the making of this shoe. The available width for both the men and women’s versions is medium, so it is able to accommodate the runners who have medium sized feet. The semi-curved shape of this shoe mimics the natural curve of the human foot.

The outsole unit of the Puma Osu NM makes use of a durable carbon rubber technology, which is able to protect the rest of the platform from wear and tear. It is also responsible for traction, which is helpful when it comes to ensuring sure movements on the roads.

The entire length of the outsole has flex grooves. They ensure more flexibility for the runner, especially during the toe-off, the phase in the gait cycle where the foot bends the most.

A highly flexible Ethylene vinyl acetate foam is used in the mid-sole unit of the Puma Osu NM. It cushions the foot well and it provides protection from impact. Its segmented nature makes it more flexible.

Additional underfoot cushioning is provided by the EcoOrthoLite Sock Liner. It also has antimicrobial and anti-moisture capabilities, which makes the interior environment healthier and cleaner.

Synthetic suede is the main material used for the upper unit of the Puma Osu NM. Strips of it are stitched onto the frame of the shoe, giving off a look that’s unique and interesting. The material is sturdy and securely placed.

Underneath the stitched-on suede is breathable mesh. It covers the foot and keeps it well-ventilated through its open-pore design.

The hook-and-loop closure system eliminates the need for traditional shoelaces. All the runner needs to do is to tighten or loosen the straps in order to get the desired fit.
