  • The Puma Ignite v2 PWRCOOL is a running shoe that’s made to keep the runner comfortable and secure. It features a technology that regulates temperature in the foot-chamber, keeping the foot of the wearer cool at all times. Strong and long-lasting materials are present in this model, and they work in tandem in order to maintain a smooth and efficient running performance.
  • The upper unit of this running shoe uses a breathable mesh material. It serves as the main cover system. It is breathable, so it accommodates environmental air to circulate into the foot-chamber. A silicone print is placed in the inner heel; it keeps the foot in place and prevents it from accidentally slipping out of the shoe. The tongue, heel and tongue features the PWRCOOL cooling system. It’s a material that reacts to the presence of moisture, actively regulating the temperature of the interior environment in order to keep it cool.
  • The mid-sole foam of the Puma Ignite v2 PWRCOOL is responsive and it has energy-returning qualities that enable the foot to perform better and faster. Chevron grooves in the foam compress when weight is placed on them, then spring back into place when the weight is removed. This design actively returns energy to the runner and makes each step and toe-off more energized.

The EverTrack outsole technology is used in the Puma Ignite v2 PWRCOOL. It covers the mid-sole and protects it from the abrasive nature of the asphalt. Chevron grooves are added to the mid-sole. They compress when weight is placed on them, and then spring back into place when weight is removed. It’s a helpful way to enhance flexibility and springiness.

The ForEverFoam is used in the heel area. It handles the impact shock during the foot-strike. It doesn’t lose structure or form easily. Its efficacy is long-lasting.

The sock liner of the Puma Ignite v2 PWRCOOL is made from Ethylene vinyl acetate. It delivers additional cushioning to the underfoot. It is molded ergonomically to provide cushioning to the arch.


Breathable mesh is used for the upper unit of the Ignite v2 PWRCOOL. It allows air into the foot-chamber, thus keeping the foot cool and dry. It’s lightweight, flexible and comfortable.

Ultra-thin suede is used to build the tongue. It’s soft and smooth, so it doesn’t irritate the skin.

The inner area of the heel uses a silicone print, which keeps the heel in place and prevents it from accidentally exiting the shoe.

The PWRCOOL technology consists of a material that reacts to moisture or sweat. It regulates the temperature inside the shoe, keeping it cool, especially during hot weather conditions.
