Updates to Ignite Ultimate JE11

The Ignite Ultimate JE11 from Puma is a shoe that commemorates New England wide receiver Julian Edelman. This running shoe mimics a fast athlete by being a reliable running partner for runners who want to get a great experience while wearing it. Made from quality compounds and components, this shoe is meant to deliver sure performance and style.

The upper unit of this running shoe utilizes a three-layer mesh that’s meant to protect the foot and keep it secure. It’s comfortable to the skin, as well. Air is constantly introduced to the interior, making the running experience of the wearer as cool and dry as possible. Slippage or accidental shoe removals are even prevented by a silicon unit in the heel.

Dependable cushioning and support are afforded by the full-length mid-sole foam, which is capable of carrying the weight of the runner while also attenuating impact shock. It’s not a stiff unit, so the foot is still able to move freely through the gait cycle. Energy return and enabled forefoot lifts are effected by articulated flex grooves in the mid-sole.

The EverTrack outsole rubber is one of the compounds that are highly resistant to wear and tear. It efficiently shields the mid-sole from the harsh effects of surface friction. It’s also responsible for the traction the runner gets when tackling the roads. Flex grooves in the forefoot area further improves the platform’s ability to move along with the foot.

Ignite Ultimate JE11 size and fit

The Puma Ignite Ultimate JE11 features sizes that follow the standard measurements for length. The men and women’s versions are true to their size. The available width is medium, so it is able to accommodate the runners who have medium sized feet. Its semi-curved shape adheres to the natural shape of the human foot.

The EverTrack is a high quality rubber material that’s used to shield the rest of the sole unit from the abrasive nature of the asphalt. It’s used liberally on the entire surface of the Puma Ignite Ultimate JE11, so runners won’t have to worry about areas that are more susceptible to scratches and other effects of constantly being exposed to the ground. The rubber is also able to hold onto the ground well, essentially giving the runner control over the roads.

A transition line at the bottom follows the natural stride of the wearer. So, it essentially makes the gait pattern as smooth and unrestricted as possible.

Flex grooves are added to the forefoot area of the shoe. They ensure the foot is able to bend and flex naturally, especially during the toe-off phase of the gait cycle.

The IGNITE foam is a proprietary full-length unit that’s responsible for carrying the foot and keeping it comfortable when running. It’s highly responsive and it is able to return energy to the wearer, thus allowing a faster and more efficient running experience.

Articulated flex grooves in the mid-sole compress when weight is placed on them, and then spring back when it is lifted. They basically help the runner when it comes to achieving a more explosive forefoot lift.

A molded sock liner made from Ethylene vinyl acetate is able to hug the arch, keeping it well-supported at all times. It’s a helpful unit for those who want to have extended running sessions and exercise activities.

The mesh material used in the upper unit has three layers. Basically, it’s meant to cover the foot and keep it secure. A comfortable interior prevents skin irritation. Breathable support is afforded, as well, because this material is able to encourage air to go into the interior chamber to provide ventilation to the foot.

A silicon print located in the heel section locks the rear of the foot in place. It prevents slippage, so the wearer’s foot stays inside the shoe and keeps away from accidental shoe removals.

A snug fit is given by the lacing system. These high quality cords that adjust how the tightness or looseness of the coverage don’t easily unravel, keeping the runner free from having to tie their shoes frequently.
