On feet, ther Future 4.1, to be honest, feels pretty much identical to the 19.1 that it replaces. They teally haven't changed much in terms of the upper. I would argue would feel a touch thinner because of this new texturing.

Overall, the Future 4.1 is a rather disappointing boot. The upper feels like it tried too hard to be like a Predator boot of old, but felt more bulky on a shoe that shouldn’t feel like that. The boot really never “wowed” me or showed any sort of significant gain from the previous generations, as a matter of fact, hardly anything has changed except for the uppers rough toe-box.

The Future 4.1 could have been much better. The Future 19.1 had so much going for it, that it seemed like its successor could only do better, not worst. Yet somehow, Puma seem to have taken a step backwards.

The Adidas Puma Future 4.1 Netfit FG/AG soccer cleat boasts an Evoknit upper that wraps around the foot. This knit-based material delivers a lightweight and sock-like feel for the wearer. Laid on top of the midfoot is Puma’s Netfit system. This innovation is net-like, and its openings can be used as lace holes. This gives way to more lacing options, creating a truly personalized fit. The strike zone features 3D elements, as well.

A low-top collar construction allows the wearer a wider range of movement.

Several aesthetic elements pointing to the Puma brand has been integrated into the shoe’s design. One of which is the Puma logo printed in the lateral side of the upper area. The Future silo’s name has been incorporated into the heel area, as well. Additionally, Netfit branding has been printed across the tongue.

The TPU outsole of this soccer cleat has been infused with Rapidagility technology. Bearing the same stud pattern and soleplate of its predecessor, a combination of conical and bladed studs are used. There are a total of thirteen studs used with nine molded into the forefoot and four placed in the heel area. This configuration is well-suited for artificial grass and firm ground surfaces.

Unlike the Puma One 18.1, a Netfit lacing system is used for the Puma Future 4.1 Netfit FG/ AG soccer cleat. This technology makes use of a net-type material with openings that act as lace holes. This setup affords the wearer countless lacing options, delivering a truly personalized fit.

An Evoknit upper of the Puma Future 4.1 Netfit soccer cleat delivers a sock-like fit as it envelops the wearer’s foot. The material brings a one-piece construction while a lightweight fit is delivered. Paired with the upper’s knit construction is the Netfit in the midfoot. This innovation features a net-like construction and allows its openings to serve as lace holes. This, in turn, allows the wearer numerous lacing options, providing a truly personalized fit.

A Netfit branding is evident in the tongue area while the silo’s name is printed across the heel area. A bold Puma print is placed in the lateral side of the boot, as well.

A stretchy low-cut collar effectively wraps around the ankle, securing the foot in place while maintaining ease of movement.

Retaining the same TPU soleplate and stud pattern of its predecessors, the Puma Future 1.4 Netfit model makes use of a Rapidagility outsole. The forefoot area holds seven conical studs and two bladed ones. The heel, on the other hand, has two conical and two bladed studs. This configuration is specially designed to work in a variety of surfaces, namely, in firm ground and artificial grass surfaces.
