Updates to Puma Fierce Camo

  • Inspired by the ballet moves, the Puma Fierce Camo was created with rigorous training in mind. The silhouette of the shoe follows the Fierce line trend of a slip-on bootie construction. It features the extended tongue and heel collar with two loops to help slide it on. In terms of style, it delivers the “Camo” effect through the camouflage print on the toe box and on the outsole.
  • The EVA midsole is utilized to provide soft cushioning. It also enhances steadiness of the foot by extending up in the lateral and medial sections.
  • The rubber outsole employs treads for grip. There are also two pivot points which allow for a smooth and dynamic multi-directional movement.

Puma Fierce Camo size and fit

The Puma Fierce Camo is offered in women’s sizes only and typically runs true to size. It is available in a B – Medium width profile. A slip-on construction offers an easy on-and-off wear while the multi-layered upper maintains a snug and secure fit. A rounded toe allows for more space in the forefoot to accommodate a toe-splay.

Outsole

The durability of the Fierce Camo is ensured by the rubber outsole unit. It works as a shield against wear and tear.

The textured sticky rubber is placed on the lateral and forefoot sections of the sole to provide grip and traction. The heel section and the big toe area have a smoother surface, forming two pivot points for a 360-degree movement of the foot.

Deep grooves throughout the outsole contribute to the optimum flexibility of the shoe. They make the sole bend with the foot.

Midsole

The Puma Fierce Camo utilizes a soft and flexible EVA midsole which provides cushioning and rebound during the movement. The cushioning and shock-absorption properties of the midsole are maximized by a plush footbed.

The lateral and medial sections of the midsole extend up, forming the “walls” that steady the heel part of the foot. The heel is also excessively thickened to maximize the steadiness.

Upper

The Puma Fierce Camo features a slip-on bootie construction with large loops fitted at the tongue and at the heel collar for a fast and easy on/off wear.

The upper unit makes use of textile and an engineered mesh to wrap the foot for a snug yet stretchable fit. These materials also ensure a proper ventilation of the shoe.

A caging synthetic overlay with a wide gore strap is employed for optimal lockdown, stability, and support of the foot.

The tongue and collar are padded for enhanced comfort and cushioning.

Inside the shoe, a textile lining and a flatlock stitching are utilized for reduced friction.

The trainer also features a rounded toe, which offers more space around the front of the foot for a natural toe splay.
