Features of the Puma EvoSpeed Star Ignite

  • This versatile football boot features qualities that make it applicable to both indoor and outdoor settings. For one, its synthetic upper makes it a lightweight boot for futsal while its leathery comfort makes it suitable for street soccer. Overall the upper makes this boot befitting for multiple types of ground.
  • The Puma EvoSpeed Star Ignite’s outsole is a non-marking rubber that provides excellent grip. Multiple patterns are laid out in the different areas of the outsole to cater to more than one surface.
  • Central laces are used to enclose the boot. It is supported by a tongue made of synthetic leather.

Fit and sizing

The sizes available for Puma EvoSpeed Star Ignite range from 7 to 14 for men's version only. The lace-type enclosure allows for a flexible fit. The synthetic leather upper offers a soft texture that hugs the foot snugly.

A non-marking rubber with various patterns adds personality to the outsole, making it a versatile boot. Herringbone tread can be seen in the forefoot area for that added grip when braking. This zigzag patterned rubber also acts as a protective element against dirt, especially useful for outdoor matches.

Horizontal line patterns can be seen at forefoot’s bending point to allow flexibility, especially during play. Overall, these patterns are meant for ultimate traction in and outside of the court.

The Ignite midsole foam magnifies the comfort of the shoe. It is an exclusive Puma technology constructed to provide a springy feedback while on the ride. It gives the foot a luxuriously soft, seamless feel, especially on rough runs and passes. Similar to Adidas Boost technology, this is also made of Polyurethane material but is molded with a different process.

This indoor football shoe’s upper is constructed with synthetic leather. This substitute material is not easily cracked or peeled, unlike real leather. For aesthetic longevity, this would be the better choice due to its stain-resistant quality.

A subtle criss-cross pattern is seen from the strike zone through the laces while the Puma Formstip is overlayed on the lateral and medial sides. The heel is designed with thin colored stripes and is bordered with a padded low-cut collar.

It has a lace-up enclosure type for a personalized fit. Below it is a long synthetic leather tongue for added adjustability.
