Use - As its name suggests, the Puma Evospeed Sprint 8 is ideal for short-distance events or sprints. With its overall engineering, this track running shoe is suitable for both training and track and field contests.

Spike Plate - The track spike features a Pebax® plate that is intended to accommodate the eight spikes that are to be attached to the shoe. This spike plate is designed for flexibility, traction, and durability. To maintain a lightweight makeup, the spike plate has cut-outs.

  • The Puma Evospeed Sprint 8 sports an updated upper composition. This iteration now presents a one-piece knitted upper that maximizes flexibility and security.
  • To be able to conserve the reputable performance of the Evospeed Sprint series, this 8th version kept some of its predecessor’s components. For durability and lightweight traction, it is still furnished with an 8-pin Pebax® plate.
  • Its heel area is graced with sharkskin just like that of Adidas Adizero LJ and Nike Zoom D. This outsole technology heightens the shoe’s grip on the track surface.

The Puma Evospeed Sprint 8 is available in standard sizing measurement for both men and women. Thus, users can get a pair using their usual size preference.

Giving the Evospeed Sprint 8 a secure wrap is the one-piece knitted upper that follows the natural shape and contours of the foot. It helps prevent unwanted removal and slippage during competitions and practice.

Equipped to the outsole of the Evospeed Sprint 8 is a Pebax® plate that is made out of a sturdy thermoplastic polymer. It keeps a good balance of stiffness for propulsion and lightness for the runner’s energy conservation.

The sprint shoe, unlike other track spikes, has cut-outs on its spike plate. This is to aid in minimizing its weight. The Pebax® plate is also inherently durable because of its construction, permitting the shoe to withstand naturally abrasive track elements.

Increasing the grip of the sprinting spike is its sharkskin component that is situated in the heel area. It features patterns that generate its slip resistance.

Affixed to the midsole of the EvoSpeed Sprint 8 is a CMEVA foam. It is hailed for being a high-strength midsole foam while maintaining ample in-shoe cushioning, powering support, and comfort.

A die-cut EVA sockliner is fused to the Strobel board, giving an improved cushioning to the foot.

Security is a very critical aspect when choosing a pair of track spikes. That is why the Puma Evospeed Sprint 8 is configured with a one-piece knitted upper. It locks the foot down into the midsole while encouraging barefoot usage.

A racing last keeps the runner on his/her toes, improving speed. It exhibits a curved and tapered fashion.
