Use - Apparent through its name, the Puma Evospeed Long Jump 5 is designed specifically for jumping meets. It specializes and yields optimal performance in long jump events.

Spike Plate - For lightweight, grippy traction, the track spike is graced with the famous Pebax® spike plate. It contains 7 spike receptacles to accommodate the shoe’s removable spike pins.

  • To cement the reputation of the Evospeed series in the market, the Puma Evospeed Long Jump 5 features a minor touch-up. It includes the integration of the die-cut Eco OrthoLite® sockliner in the midsole, helping improve the track shoe's cushioning.
  • The rest of the shoe’s design involves the same components from the previous version. Some of the notable elements that still remain part of the shoe’s makeup are the dual-density Pebax® spike plate and the aerodynamic synthetic upper.
  • The dual-density Pebax® plate is responsible for the superb traction of the shoe and its durability. Meanwhile, the aerodynamic synthetic upper of the shoe graces the foot with a comfortable, secure wrap.

The Puma Evospeed Long Jump 5 is listed in unisex sizing, following men’s sizing scheme. It is available in standard width, and women are advised to go 1.5 sizes down to secure accurate fit and size.

To provide the foot with a generous amount of security and snug fit, the Evospeed Long Jump 5 is outfitted with an aerodynamic synthetic upper. For lockdown fit and additional support, a midfoot strap is embellished on the upper.

One of the principles of shoe-manufacturing is that if it works, why change it? The same idea is applied to the outsole construction of the Puma Evospeed Long Jump 5. Fashioned with a dual-density Pebax® plate, similar to its predecessor, the track jumping shoe promotes high-strength engineering.

Such a spike plate is built to last on the track and withstand various abrasive elements during competitions and training. Moreover, it is also recognized for being highly flexible, allowing natural foot movements.

To heighten the grip of the Evospeed Long Jump 5 on the track surface, a sharkskin outsole is furnished to the heel. It has slip-resistant properties that permit stability for more robust and safe performance.

Sharkskin outsole is also found in other track and field shoes such as the Nike Zoom Matumbo 3 and Adidas Adizero LJ

Located in the midsole of the Puma Evospeed Long Jump 5 is its die-cut Eco OrthoLite® sockliner. It reduces shock upon impact while supplementing the track spike with an ample amount of comfort.

Sporting the same upper material from the other models of the Evospeed collection, the Evospeed Long Jump 5 presents an aerodynamic synthetic upper. It adapts to the natural shape and contours of the foot so that the foot stays in place during performance. With its design, premature removal of the jumping spike is prevented.

To complement the snug fit of the upper, a midfoot strap runs across the upper. It is made out of a Velcro strap that supplies lockdown support. The midfoot strap is also intended for an adjustable fit.
